Shawn – Thanks for your interest in our camps. We do not have a lower limit for our camps; however, we do require a parent or coach to attend with all wresters age 10 and younger.

We typically have a few wrestlers as young as 7 and 8 attend, but we don’t usually have many 5 or 6 year olds. We may not have a work out partner for him. For most very young wrestlers, two 3 hour instruction/training session is more than they can do.

Occasionally, we have some youth wrestlers who attend just the morning session with a pro-rated camp fee. If this is something you’d like to set up, give us a call or email granbysystem1@cox.net or 757-675-5998.

Jon – Thanks. I look forward to seeing you guys at camp this summer. Congratulations on your son’s success. It must have been exciting to see him pull it out at the end like that. Great story! Hopefully there will be more stories to tell. Best of luck to you and your sons from Coach Lowrance.

Thanks – we will come to Wilson High but would prefer to be a bit farther north so we will wait a bit before registering. It will be year three for my youngest. On a side note – my middle son had gone to the Virginia camp and months later with 2 seconds left in triple OT in New York State semis – match tied – he hit a Granby to win the match to send him to State finals. The little things that you guys don’t hear about!

@Jon- We have had contact from groups in New York and in New Jersey about hosting a camp, but they haven’t come back to us with confirmed dates. Hopefully we can get something together. We definitely want to come to that area!
